Get a better one. Lights up like a Christmas tree, but the connections are weak and break if stressed or strained.
It's just a rubbish. Do not even think to purchase this product. It doesn't work.
This thing is really bite. Wow it's like having a police car park in back of my pc with all the flashing lights going.Really I like the look but Sorry Blinky I will have to pull you out.
Again duct-tape saves the day. For now I got some handy duct-tape hiding-it.
It work fine, I have USB2 HDD, printer, I-pod, Cell-phone, flash memory on it and there no problem. This one flashes for no apparent reason at different speed all the time alternating colors.
Hey 8$ and it work, it's can't be perfect like me and my French. Is it faster than others, I have no clue.
Not only there 2 leds per ports but there Blinky in the middle.
i have to re-plug it before it'sseen.has not done the 3-port blink for awhile.3 3/4 stars. Update:jun 22nd 2009:it has started to not be recognized upon bootup. I bought this for my Toshiba satellite M30x-s191td,and plugged it in, it gave a first goodimpression of a 7-port powered USB hub. Pros: i can have my floppy, 2 card readers, mouse, printer, and hd, and all work GREAT.Cons: short cords, it blinks from being a 7-port to a 3-port.cheap feeling, total of 8 lights, the center one blinksblue-redcould also be used as a nite-lite.good for the price.
As near as I can tell I am out the wireless mouse because there is no replacement for the reciever. Fortunately I immediately disconnected the Hub from my USB to save my computer. After disconnecting the USB Hub I determined that my mouse receiver no longer worked, not recognized in USB. My experience was much the same as J. The 7 Port Hub is now totally dead also, no lights when powered by the AC adapter. As soon as I plugged the hub in and plugged my mouse receiver into it everything started going from bad to worse. Ring, I also would have rated it zero stars if I could. Lights started dropping on the Hub, XP indicated overload on USB buss.
